The Town book of Pacov from the 1475-1683

6 Annotation The aim of the thesis is to introduce an urban book of Pacov in term of a diplomatic analysis. This urban book was established from the second half of 15 century to the second half of 17th century. The actual analysis of the registers is introduced by two sub-chapters. The first one is focused on the socio-politico-administrative development of the areas of Pelhřimov and Pacov during the late medieval and early modern period. The environment of Pacov is directly reflected in the section devoted to municipal laws, which aim is to put the content of privileges issued for Pacov to a broader social context. The sub-sections describing the outward signs of the urban book, an analysis of the registers from a diplomatic-content analysis point of view and the urban book in the context of the written production of the municipal office are the central part of the analysis of the urban book of Pacov. The groups sorting of different types of registers is based on the structure of municipal book as Ludmila Sulitková has applied to the urban environment of Brno books in the context of the urban book development in the Middle Ages. Vimperk in the Late Middle Ages. The Study of Sources to the History of a Liege Town

This bachelor thesis inquires into the political, economic and social situation of the liege town Vimperk in the Late Middle Ages by means of examination of the preserved sources. The attention is paid especially to the second half of the fifteenth century and the first three decades of the sixteenth century. The thesis is based on the municipal book of the town Vimperk which captures the situation in the town between the years 1479 and 1670. This thesis also deals with the suzerain of Vimperk. Their actions and attitudes had often impact on the town. For the whole 15th century Vimperk was controled by Kaplirzs of Sulevice. That is why a significant part of one chapter of this thesis deal with them. In Vimperk there ended one of the branches of the Golden Route which meant profit for both the town and the suzerain. Due to this fact, the final part of the thesis discusses the issue of the Golden Route and another trade roades which were in the surroundings of the town and influenced the situation of Vimperk. The main part of this work is focused on edition the oldest known municipal book of town Březnice from the years 1454-1630. This municipal book belongs to "libri memorabilium," so the texts of memorials in the book contain mainly market contracts, donations, accounts, list of burghers who paid town dues, testaments and the other. This edition includes editor's comment, name, local and material index, picture supplement and the chapters about municipal books, history of Březnice and development of its administration.

Manual of Kožlany 1719 - 1795 (Contribution to the History of Small Town in Early Modern Period)

The diploma thesis deals with manual that was created in Kožlany in the 18th century and tries to present the history of early modern liege small town and Kožlany municipality at the time. The main text of the thesis is divided into four chapters. At the beginning, the history of Kožlany is outlined with regard to early modern times. The following two chapters are devoted to the transcription and the original of manual. In these chapters the transcription is compared with the origin book, then follows the internal and external analysis of this town book, and paleographic analysis and segmentation of records to the category are formed. The fourth chapter deals with the town's administration, where all municipal officials are mentioned. In addition, this chapter contains a subchapter dedicated to municipal office, burgesses admission, and the economy. In conclusion are summarized the findings. The text is complemented with image attachments, which demonstrate manuscripts of individual scribes, tables and graphs related to the actual manual or the city administration.

The Development of Foundation Agenda for Churches and Parishes in Territory of City České Budějovice and Its Surroundings in 14. and 15. Century

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to explain the method of financing charity and secure funding church institutions situated on the territory of city of České Budějovice in the Middle Ages. The work is divided into six chapters. The first part consists of describing the development of Church administration in Bohemia from beginning of Christianity to the Middle Ages. The second chapter presents the person of parish priest and describes the function of the parish. On this passage follows a treatise of the right of patronage. The theoretical part of this thesis is concluded with a chapter which explains the general financial insurance and patronage support of parishes. The practical part is devoted to the development of foundation agenda in České Budějovice and also brings the structure of rural parishes and parish networks in the vicinity of this city. The work includes the list of used sources, literature and attachments. The annexes include tables containing summary data from municipal book of donation records, the main source of this thesis. It also contains tables relating the occupation the parish benefices by parish priest as well as the photographs of mentioned churches.

The main part is based on a court book. The book deals with an offense against the law in the second decade of 17th century. From this source are quantified and presented examples of people in Jindřichův Hradec from civil and criminal law.
